it's an 02 LS6 cam, pretty new judging from the lobe wear(very minimal) $125+shipping(like 5 bucks)

 

TTT, one of you boost guys needs this cam. it made 30 at the tires on an otherwise bone stock truck down here. it will idle awesome, and hell...if you're local i'll install it.

 

its an 02 cam?? i looked at this post earlier and i could have sworn that it said 01 ls6 cam

What do I need to install it in my 5.3 springs? retainers? I might have the money friday if you can wait.

 

i did have an 01 cam 00silverado, but it went into a different truck yesterday, i also had an 02 and that's what's for sale now. i'll give ya the part # off it if you'd like. Texas5.3 where are you in texas? you would just need to change springs to install this cam. if you are close to fort worth i'd help ya with the install and spring change.

 

ok as long as its an 02 cam and in good condition, ill probably take it, ill let you know tomorrow or wed for sure.

do you have any pics? just so i can see what kind of condition its in?

Also what about pushrods? I heard you need a longer pushrod to run this cam because of the smaler base circle or something like that.

 

as far as i know you don't need different pushrods...it's probably needed in the z06 motor because of different combustion chamber sizes. no pics of it but it's in good shape...i'm not out to **** anyone man.

 

will it fit a 99 5.3 that thing needs a cam bad!!!

 

it will fit in it z7199, but i sold this one to blownchevy, there is another one for sale in this section though.
