Damn that was harsh. Glad you tracked down the problem. You ever find out why the LTFT bank went weird at idle?

Same Problem, the crack was allowing air out under load and vacuming it in at idle

Ah ok, must have been pre-collector then huh? My slip fit leaked bad when I first installed b/c of the stainless clamps breaking in. Didn't make the banks go lean though.

It was at the joint where the actual primary is welded to the collector

Zzebes just stating the obvious....You said lifter tapping not me...Now its an exhaust leak...I've never heard an exhaust leak sound like a lifter tapping...As far as Lisa's truck i can do with it as much or little as possible i wasnt being negative towards your sale just stating the obvious of a lifter tapping and you saleing it as with no problems..If it was a exhaust leak as you say then good im glad you fixed it but lifters dont sound like and exhaust leak....

Havent spent much time around LS motors have we, a bad exhaust leak from a collector can sound like bad lifter tap

A slight exhaust leak between two tight surfaces can have a metallic noise to it.

Shoot dang, you got yourself a tig rig? What rods and tungsten did you use? Running pure Argon, or a tri-mix? Easy to get porosity with the coating in the way
