Its pretty obvious that the third piston was replaced. It should have matched up with that messed up chamber. I certainly wouldn't call this a nice motor.

Looks like this motor was in a fire or something look at the lifter tray on the right hand side

Also, Dirty, this may be an 05+ LQ4, 05 and later models have the LS2/LQ9 rods in them, that is his fault but also yours for not checking it out thoroughly before handing over the money. The best way to protect yourself is to be informed/knowledgeable about what you are buying.

JJ should make it right by refunding your money since it is not the product he described.

How do you figure? If he was a good seller Dirty would have never been able to make his post, JJ would have refunded his money or made other arrangements to Dirty's liking.

Dirty 30, I hope you get everything worked out and if you do end up getting your money back and dont feel like dealing with JJ, I have a contact in the DFW area who can get you a nice 6L short or longblock for a decent price.

Dirty 30, I picked up this motor and never seen the inside of it, i was told that it was nice before i picked it up. (i picked it up the day that you picked it up) I did not try to screw you over. You called me 1 time weeks after the purchase, If you want i will try to
get this replaced for you or you mentioned in your post earlier that you would settle for the set of LQ9 pistons and rods that i have. The people that know me knows that i wouldn't try to screw anyone over. The time that you called me you told me that you would get back to me and you never did. I can't fix it without knowing about it. I am the one that feels like i have been screwed by the one that sold it to me. Let me know. John
