any pics of the damage on the block?

 

Lots of requests for pics of the block so here they are. I firmly believe this thing is ok after looking at it closely again. As I said it broke a rod but looks like the motor was stopped before any block damage was done. Also, I'll throw in the long rear flange crank for free. I really need this stuff out of the way.

Yea, I can get pics up tomorrow. The pcm out of my 06 had about 15k miles on it, currently it has an OLSD 3-bar 4l80e tune on it. Can't remember the last time it was used. Probably early 2010.

Also please check the Service no. on the pcm to see if it is : 12602802 if not what service no. does yours have?

I'm going to use this with a 5.3 and if need be (depending on service no.) reprograming from 6.0 to 5.3 can be done...I just need to know the service no. on your pcm.

Sorry if I haven't responded with the requested pics. I damn near burned off a couple fingers on new years fireworks and have been working too...
