450 is a good deal, You can tune Any vin of the 03 silverado and avalanche. Not just one truck and be locked to that vin. To buy this same deal with the new credit system, you would pay, 300 bucks for the 03 ALL vin # Silverados, and 300 bucks for ALL vin # avalanches. That is if you owned the MPVI cable aready. If you didn't, It would cost you 500 bucks for the cable and 8 credits, 6 credits would go toward the 03 Silverado license for All vin #s' you would then have to spend two hundered more dollars to buy enough credits for the 03 avalanche license for all vin #s. thats 700 dollars! He only wants 450!

 

How does this compare to the vcm suite pro that hp has on their website for 649.00? Will this work on my 01 silverado that has an 03 LQ9 swapped in and a computer tuned by "wait for me performance". All the credits and stuff confuses the hell out of me, all I want to do is tune my truck, and log with out any limits to how many times. Does it include all hardware and cables, besides the lap top of course.

 

As long as the pcm/ecm equipment is from an 03 truck, I believe that it should work, it comes with the program, serial cable and usb cable. You can scan and program as much as you want with it.
