I would but id rather not because i would have to cut it off and it would be more trouble than what its worth. Besides, this way, someone can just have the muffler welded on and the turndown will already be there.
Its not expensive to have a turn down put on. Its juat a piece of pipe that any exhaust shop can bend for you to make a turn down.

I understand, I figured it was worth a shot though. I live in a small town with only a couple of muffler shops and the largest pipe they can bend is 2 1/4 I believe, I don't really want to drive 100 miles for a $10 piece of pipe.
