but i need a sure fit and need to know how to wire them up. my dad finally told me what he wanted for fathers day. so...........you can do the math

ask 03 gmc how he wired his. they do have a different harnesses since they have an extra bulb.

 

I put them in my 03 GMC and it is simple to wire in the fourth light. Go to AutoZone and pick up two replacement license plate light sockets, some 194 bulbs and some quick connectors (less than $10). Remove stockers and splice into the "lights on only" wire and the ground wire in the stock harness and you now have a fourth light. Take a knife and trim off two of the tabs on the new socket so it pops into the 03 lights. You have to open up a tab or teo on the light a little for the stock sockets to fit it but they will. Takes about 10 min on the first one and about 5 on the second. If you can find them with the harness they just unplug the old lights and install the new ones! Very simple to do!
