Default HAL QA1's for a 2/3 drop For Sale...

... front and back set...

Fronts will need bushings for top...

Rears will need the steel sleeves for the bolt holes...

Shocks have about 3k miles on them or so... too rough for me... went back to stock when I moved over from Belltech spring to McGaughy's Spindle drop...

Rear shocks required very minor filing on the outer body on the bottom to get them to fit into the shock mount on the axle.

parts needed are cheap... shocks new are over $600.

I accept Paypal with a 3% premium... otheriwse Bank Cahiers Check or Money Order. Personal Checks also accepted but note that I will not ship until it clears (minimum 10 business days).

Pics available upon request.

$300 shipped.

Are these the adjustable shocks? Why was the ride so rough, could you not find a good setting? Thanks

Yes, they are adjustable... and I tried different settings. Coupled with the Belltech Springs they are a great handling shock. But the ride was just too rough for me. 80% of my driving is within 25 miles of my house. With exception to our new or recently rubberized asphault repaved great highway system... I can't expect the surface street roads around where I live to get any better for probably the next 5 years or so.

What's the extended/compressed length of these shocks? I'm wondering if they'll work with the 4/6 drop? I'm conncerned that the fronts will be too short (DJM arms take stock shocks) and the rears will be too long.

Any HAL p/n's?

Bump for ya. I have these and love them, maybe the streets are just a little better around here.

Did I ever send you the part numbers for the ones I got? I can't remember. If you want them just let me know.

I'm trying to figure out if these will work for me. The fronts should no problem. The backs not so much. I have up front DJM 2" arms and ground force 1 1/2" coils. Out back is Hotchkis 4" leafs and 1" shackles. QA1's web sight doesn't give direct part #'s!

Here's a shot of the shocks extended... the bottom eyelets are at 23.5" on the tape measure. I believe the front shock part# is TC2501P... when I ordered them they did not come with the t-bar's... those were an extra $75 bucks...

Perhaps the ride was rough because of the Belltech springs(?). I have since switched to the McGaughy's 2" spindle drop... requiring stock length shocks. I didn't try the QA1's to see if they would fit after the spindle install. Maybe I just gave up to early. The stock shocks are working fine for me... just ready to move on I guess...
