GMPP 4l80E 24-28 converter
#32
How does this converter work at low rpms idle-1500 or so? What engine do you have it behind?
I realized that's a strange question on a performance forum, but I spend a lot of time crawling around in the mountains with this truck, the converter I have is stock for an 06 6.0/4l80e and It wont start moving the truck until 1500 rpm, and brake stalls to 23-2400. Which doesnt work well for what I want. I'm thinking something is off or broken with my tc and have been looking at stock or near stock replacements

This converter is tight, which means it engages very quickly, driving this converter really feels like driving stock until it is hammered on then it loosens a little just not enough for what I wanted, let me know 912-237-4234
