Fully Built 2WD 4L65E transmission: I bought this transmission a few months ago and never installed it. I'd like to get it sold quickly so I will remove the temptation to install it.

I bought this from sprayed99 on this site (and many others). It was built at his fathers transmission shop, Jerry's Transmissions. Link to a thread posted by Allen Nelson about Jerry's Transmissions. He told me it has 2400 miles on it and was working perfectly when removed from his Joe Gibbs truck.

Here are the specs he gave me on the transmission when I bought it:

Billet pistons
Cryo treated input and output shafts
Art Carr Machined drum
Corvette servo
Redline commercial 3/4 clutch pack
Superior Shiftkit
RPM KIT
blueprinted Valvebody
dyno tested to over 500 hp.

what will i have to do to put that tranny in my truck are all the conections the same as a 4l60e? and is there any warranty? is the lowest you will go on the price? thanks kurt

 

RPM kit?? what is that?? does that include wider bands or anything??

 

Basically a 4L65E is a 4L60 with some internal performance upgrades from the factory. It is what GM put in their SS trucks and other performance models.

I'm going to stick with this price. Its plenty low as it is, so it shouldn't last long.

 

Sorry, I can't answer that joshua022. What is posted is what I was given when I bought it. I expect that it has upgraded bands, but can't say for sure right now. I'll see if I can find out.
