Someone brought this to my attention, and I called my father to ask about this... seems dad couldn't remember if it were a 350 or 400 that the truck came with. Compare the images of mine to others, and you'll see... I'm no gearhead, and I learn more shyt day after day.

Might be a 375 or whatever that one hybrid one was called. If it is a 350 lock-up, where is the connector? Maybe I missed it. But I would be pretty sure it isnt a TH400. You can look up gasket shapes on some trans parts web sites, the TH350 is like a rectangle with one corner angled. The TH400 is shaped like the bottom half of texas towards the back of the pan.

It is a TH400. Checked pan shape & length. It does have the electrical connector, but I think that the kickdown switch connector. I'll look that up to confirm. I have better pics that I'll post with the Turbo Hydramatic serial tag on it.

Here's a link where there's a descent illustration of TH350/400 differences:

Though the bell-housing bolt pattern is the same on both, the clear distinction is the case (past the bell housing) & fluid pan shape. I clearly have the TH400.
