FS: G80 and a 2000 LS1 Truck Stall Converter
G80 IS SOLD!
CONVERTER IS ALSO SOLD!
Converter is a 2000 stall for '00+ LS1 trucks. (It will fit some, but not all, '99 trucks) from Suncoast Converters in Ft Walton Beach, Florida -->
Suncoast Converters There's not a ton of info there, but they do know what they are doing as they specialize in diesel performance as well. The local tranny shop swears by their product and I was happy with the converter for a while. Like everything else, the sickness of needing "more" got me and I went to an Edge 9.5" 3000 stall. It will stall at 2000 behind a stock 5.3. Behind my 5.3 w/Whipple, it stalled to about 2400. Used for 11 months, never a problem. Oh, and it is a lockup converter. Basically, it seems to compare favorably with TB converters that many have had good success with. Cost was $350 new, I'm asking $150 plus shipping.
