FS: Cammed 5.3l, Stalled 4l60e, and swap parts into OBS
#1
I have a very nearly complete swap setup to go into an OBS truck. To my knowledge the only missing parts are a set of rad fans, and a solution for the steam port.
5.3l Info:
2003 Block, 160K miles on it
had Castech heads (cracked), now has 12K mile 853 heads (same as LS1 241s), milled .028 (Stock compression give or take)
PAC 1218 valve springs
Comp XER 228/222 .588/.581 114.5, 10K miles or so, looked very clean when installing it.
Hardened Pushrods
LS2 oil pump with 71K (From my GTO which was cammed)
LS1 lifters with 72K (From a buddy's GTO we also cam swapped)
New ARP head bolts
New ARP crank bolt
Includes starter, alt, PS pump, bracket, water pump
$800 picked up, no shipping. Since I put it back together its been turned over by hand, not started.
If you'd like pieces off of this I'll hear offers.
4l60e Info:
Acquired from a 4.8l ext cab with a cracked frame, 67K miles
Have stock converter, also have a 3000 rpm Performance of New Hampton stall. Triple disk lockup, low miles. I'm told 12K miles, I suspect more. I also have a vette servo for it, brand new from OPT.
$700 picked up with stall, $400 without
Factory harness has been pulled apart, and trimmed down (EGR, rear O2s, BCM connections, etc removed) I've added 2 pins for fan control and have a startup tune flashed in using HPTuners. Will obviously need to be dialed in. As it sits, this is set up for a 4l80e, but I have a segment swapped tune and can set it up for a 4l60e without too much trouble.
$600 for the harness, PCM[SOLD]
I also have:
Harness/PCM tuned (I can adjust tune to meet requirements): 400 [SOLD]
HPTuners, licensed to this PCM, no credits left: $250 [No longer for sale]
Dirty Dingo Mounts (powdercoated): 130 [SOLD]
Rad Fan Harness (Nelson, new): 120 [No longer for sale]
Painless Fuseblock: 65 [SOLD]
Walbro Fuel Pump: 150 (I also have a vortec fuel bucket with burned out pump I'll include to scavenge parts off of) [SOLD]
MAF: 85 [SOLD]
EFI Fuel Hose/Clamps: 35 [SOLD]
Fuel Filter: $20 [SOLD]
Stock Fuel lines (to adapt TBI lines to rails with flex line): 30 [SOLD]
Stock Throttle/cruise cables (new): 75 [SOLD]
Coolant Temp/Oil Press Sensor Adapters (for use with OBS sensors into 5.3l): 35 [SOLD]
(2) Temp sensors (planned to run 2 senders to a switch for coolant temp and trans temp, 1 gauge): 40 [SOLD]
B&M Trans Cooler: 75
3.5" Exhaust w/ Hooker AeroChamber muffler (requires welding, set up to dump in front of rear axle): 150
Stock transmission cooler lines: $50
Bully Hummer H2 CAI: $120
2 extra water pumps: Make offer
AC compressor (off of 5.3l) with bracket: Make offer
Coolant bottle/lines from 5.3l: Make offer
Now.. I will not be shipping the big stuff. I realize that will make this difficult, and I am OK with that. I would be HAPPY to cut a deal to someone who wanted to come pick up the complete swap, I conservatively estimate this setup should put down 350/350. My GTO put 425hp down through an M6 with a slightly larger cam (232/234) and 6 liters.

I've actually got a NBS truck with a blown trans lined up that I'm planning on sticking my engine and trans into, so if it goes through I'd be more than happy to sell you those parts.
The exhaust I have is set up so that pipe would need to be welded where the cats were, and then after the Y, I was going to weld on a 3.5" pipe, Hooker Aerochamber, then a 60* bend to dump pre-axle.
Make me an offer.. Also the harness will need to be laid out on the engine and loomed up so that it goes in your desired location, right now it is blown apart and de-loomed in my basement.

It is available, and no, thats not a problem, I'm sure we can come to a deal. I'll just say now, that since there are 2 interested, I'll just let the first with money down be the buyer.
I actually had a buddy in London, haven't talked to him in probably a decade. lol
Just for the record, I'll hear trade offers too, and I would be open to flashing in a startup tune and holding onto my HPTuners.
