Complete teardown of the trans and replace the ouput shaft with a 2wd shaft along with a 2wd tailshaft housing. You could re-coupe some of the cost and sell the billet output shaft in it. It's pricey.

Here are some pictures of the FLT LVL5. Before I pulled it I dropped the pan. As I stated above there was no metal in the pan. Fluid burnt and a lot of friction material. When it went out I was on the trip to pick up the 65e. Still shifted 1st to second fine. Would just slip in 3rd and 4th if most of the time but still would catch the gears and hold if I didn't apply very much throttle.
Pan dropped while still in truck.

Pan off and the stuff on the magnet.

Took the accum out.

Out and sitting in the floor.
