Default FEELER: WTB 10 bolt axle shaft for 2WD Tahoe - 2001 I think? Houston

Friend curbed the crap out of his Tahoe and says the wheel is wobbling now, tried putting the spare on and it still wobbles. He's short on cash and I'm trying to help him out. He says it doesn't seem to be leaking so I'm thinking he may have lucked out and just bent the end of the shaft at the flange, hoping a simple axle shaft swap will get him rolling again.

Haven't had a chance to inspect it myself in person but we're trying to set that up. In the meantime seeing if anybody Houston local has an axle shaft for his truck.

Thanks,
Richard

Do 1500 truck axles work in SUV? I have one in Austin if you strike out locally

Not sure; I'll have to do some checking. And just to be clear until I get a chance to look at it, I'm hoping all we need is the 1 axle shaft, not the entire rear end.

Thanks,
Richard

Not gonna need this...a closer look revealed the whole housing was bent so he just boneyarded a complete rear.
