That length doesn't seem right. I would think you would definitely have an issue with the truck being lowered. I am lowering my truck the same amount in the rear. Can you double check that length?

I measured the stocker that I still have and you guys that are getting 67 1/2 would be correct. I guess when I measured it still in the truck I was off!

I measured the DSS shaft and It is 68 1/2 not 69 1/2, I'm not sure what kinda crack I was smoking on the original posting of 69 1/2. So it's an inch longer than stock which explains the yolk but I never had any issues so who knows

Are the yokes on 6l80s the same as the 4l60s in terms of the number of splines?

Also does it fit a 2008 gmc sierra crew cab..2 wheel drive with the 4 speed transmission?..

No vibrations, high speed balanced by Driveshaft Specialist in San Antonio, has been above 130 smooth. My stock driveshaft was 67 1/2" and this one is 68 1/2" cause I measured incorrectly from center to center u-joint. Call DSS and see what they charge to make it whatever length you want, either way its still a good deal
