i bet the ls7 cam would work well for towing it has lots of torque down low the specs are just slightly more agressive then a gt2-3 cam and will still idle like a kitten.

i used to tow with the g5x2 cam it had ok power down low and then when you hit 3500rpm it was like someone gave the truck a kick in the *** you would get pushed back into your seat as the truck took off and pulled like crazy rite til red line

What size motor was this procharger used? What was the max boost you saw and at what rpms?

i dont tow that much, maybe a boat a few times a year maybe something a little heavier a few times a year. no more than once a month, if that. Im in college.....So this cam would not work well for me?

i towed my 12k 31 foot twin big block boat around with the big cam i didnt have any trouble. plus with the 114 lsa its a little lumpy at idle really sounds nice.

the pro charger was on a 5.7l aluminum block ls1 5Lbs at 3500 rpm up to 10 at 5500 to red line at 7000

Does that LS7 cam have the reluctor rings ground into the back? If not it won't work on any of the GENIII engines unless you also convert to the front cover timing sensor.
