Slow... I have a new takeout case and tailshaft housing I'll let go for $150 shipped if anyone is seriously considering this tranny. That means your buyer probably only needs an output shaft and then the labor to swap everything over. Just a thought

Works for me/ Looks like someone could have a damn strong trans for about $1500. The garbage on ebay sells for that.

For those interested, I checked on a new OEM 4L65E output shaft and it would be $120, or you can get a used one for about $60 on eBay. So that would put the total cost at $1,000 for the trans + $150 for the tailshaft housing + $120 or $60 for the output shaft + shipping = ~$1300-$1400 for the parts. And based on a quote I got from a local shop a while back, the internals swap would run about $500 in parts & labor. So that puts it up to about $1800-$1900 and you'll have yourself a FLT Level 5 tranny w/only 5K miles on it. Or you could drop an additional $400 and get the billet 4x4 output shaft from FLT, and that thing will NEVER break.

IF this price is too high or anybody knows of a reason the internals wouldnt be ok, let me know. I dont want to rip anyone off or sell something unuseable.

I threw a driveshaft out at the track last year, cracked the tail housing in 2, bent the output shaft and cracked the main case. Nothing inside was hurt. Had the guts put in another case w/ a new shaft and it's all good again.
Hope this helps.
