If it sounds like a lot a gear, remember tire height makes a big difference.

For example, comparing the ratio to a car with a 26" tall tire to my truck's 31.7" tall tire brings the equivelent ratio down to 3.90 to 1.

wait what trucks do these fit, Sorry im not familar with the size and bolt of the rear end.

 

they will fit modern trucks that have the 8.6 10bolts and 8.5 10bolt that came in gm passenger cars in the 70's. The install kits are different but the gears are the same.
