I have a bare used 4.8/5.3 block for sale....only has main caps and bolts.It is missing the exterior main cap bolts that go on the outside of the block.The block does have some surface rust from sitting up and was like that when I got it...2 cylinders do have surface rust in them as you can see in the pics....im sure this could be honed out! Would be a good block for iron 5.7 or if you wanted a back up!I am offering this to local dfw guys and i am not looking to ship it.

how long you had it for? sitting out the whole time not bagged or anything I guess?

 

Maybe 6-7 months .....it had the surface rust when i bought it.I just wet it down with WD-40 when i got to keep it from doin it anymore.
