Just wondering what the difference between this one and the nv149 is? I'd like to do an AWD swap but I'm not sure which would be better.

I have both cases for sale. They say that the 149 is better cause you can take a shaft out and drive it if you have to. But if the coupler ever goes out it is very expensive to fix. The 4481 works just like an open diff with 60/40 split. I actually love it. It is currently in my truck right now. The few downfalls to it is if you take out a shaft it will not move and if one tire is off the ground it will put most all the power to that wheel. Just let me know cause I don't need both. I'll take 400 for the 4481 and 700 for the 149. Plus shipping on either of course.

Would be expensive to ship to Canada

Did you have to change your front diff and driveshafts for both?

you not know someone on this side, like in north dakota or something that we could ship it to? you don't have to change the front diff. You just have to engage the actuator and unplug it. Yes, you do have to chage the driveshaft for both cases. Or you could have yours shortened.

I honestly don't know what you have to do. I do have an extra front end you could buy but it has 3.73 gears in it and I have my stock 4x4 front shaft but you would have to shorten it.

I have made up my mind. I'm going to keep the 4481 in my truck and I'll let the 149 go for 750 shipped.
