chin, how bad is the sandes spot? would it be hard to just have the entire thing smoothed? i have an idea for something custom on a bezzle. how about 25 shipped?

 

The middle part of the top is sanded down so it feels smooth. Like I said, I got lazy so the more you get to the left and right ends of the top part, the more stock (textured) it is.
If you have a Dremel or something, it shouldn't be that hard to sand down the whole thing. I sanded the top part manually and it took about 15 minutes to get it nice and smooth.
I've seen some guys on FSC who did the same thing I was going to do and it looks nice.
