77k Mile LQ9 From 2006 GMC Sierra Denali
Purchased this motor from Norcal Auto Wrecking in Sacramento Ca, about 2 months ago to swap into my single cab, plans changed due to time limitations and the fact I want to shoot for a single turbo build. Anywhoo, the engine is from a 2006 Sierra Denali, Vin# 2GTEQ63N861307746. The truck was t-boned and had 77,639 miles on the cluster. The engine was run, and had good oil pressure and seemed to run with no issues. I purchased the whole changeover for 2500.00 dollars, but sold off the harness and accessories since I was using it for my truck and it already had everything. I am asking 2000.00 as I sold off the accessories for 450.00.
I am located in Vacaville Ca. 95688. Please feel free to call/text me anytime. Phone number is 707-365-6441. Interested in trades for complete turbo kit for 2006 GMC Sierra. Or, you can just buy the on3 performance kit which is about 1900.00. Thanks for your time! -Mike http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...ps12a1567f.jpg http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1b448038.jpg http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...psd62c98cc.jpg http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1aeeb87e.jpg http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2c0c7aaa.jpg http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/...ps71b93e0c.jpg |
I thought all Denalis came with an lq4
|
Yes Yukon Denalis come with lq4. SIERRA Denalis 2005+ came with lq9s. This is also why I included the Vin. As you can see, 8th digit is N. Indicating Lq9.
|
Thats a new one on me.....I thought all Denalis were dished lq4's. It should have better rods in it anyway. Bump for ya!

https://www.driverside.com/specs/gmc...6-4697-10945-0 I think you're right sir. I thought all Denalis came with lq4s. Sweet deal for someone |
Yeah I was worried about it when I first called too, but I after some research I came to find that it's an lq9. And yes this has the better rods and floating pistons. 243s on this bottom end would basically be a iron ls2

Well mainly swapping 243's on a lq9 will get you ls2 compression. 243's on a lq4 would get you lq9 compression. If you swapped lq9 pistons into lq4, and also used 243's, then yes you'd have an iron ls2.

Am I reading that right? $2k for just the motor?
