I'm thinking about getting this. I REALLY want a awd 4l80e conversion. I will see if I can swing the money. Any ideas on how much shipping this beast would be? It's not exactly a light package.

Around $150 to MI .

Alright well I looked into it more and as much as I really want to I don't see a way to swap it on the my truck. Even if I could I would run into 2000 other problems so I guess it will be the 4l60e + Stupid 4WD

hi is it possible to use this tranny in a 2wd car? I am doing a supercharged 6.0 swap into a 1975 pontiac. is the tranny the same as the 2wd version?

No this not the same as a 2wd trans. You would need to replace the output shaft and the tailshaft housing to convert it to a 2wd trans.

Thanks for the reply. is that something that is major to do or is it a pretty simple conversion to do ? I am also looking at a 4l65e that is 4wd and would need to do that conversion
