I have a 5.3 shortblock in the garage that I will give anyone who will come and pick it up. It needs new pistons, bearings, machine work etc but the block is in great condition and I'm sure the connecting rods and crank are as well. Came out of a 2002 Z71. Yeah that sucks. I'm in college, and I only have 4 semesters left so I'm starting now cleaning out the garage, so when it comes time to move out I wont have to move a 500 pound iron block V-8.
