I have a 5.3 long block (block, crank, rods, pistons, and heads) that I was going to use for my project, however I lucked into an LS6.

engine info:
The engine had about 45K miles and was running when taken apart (came out of a local AZ wrecked/rear-ended Tahoe). It has been dissembled, cleaned, all all parts inspected. Everything is in good shape and it COULD be put back together and run as is. I had planned to just hone the block, get new rings and bearings, and reassemble. The heads are in good shape and ready to be used and/or ported/polished/milled/etc.

I am willing to sell parts, however the $500 price is for EVERYTHING (top to bottom).

-Ported and polished DBW TB from a 2004 Silverado (my old truck).
-The truck intake manifold (no fuel rail) from my 2004 Silverado

This is an ideal engine to start with as everything is straight, no taper in the cylinders, no cracks, etc. With this package, you will have an engine that you can KNOW is rebuildable.

I did it. Smoothed and polished the transitions. It makes a noticeable difference.
