I very interested just not sure whats all involved in swapping to a 80e. Can someone chime and and lite me know. One question I have is the torque converter better then what. Comes with the 60e? Would you do $700 shipped?

It's not bad at all. I did it in one evening. Remove 60, replace flexplate, bolt up 80, cut and extend the rear cooler line, cut center out of crossmember, weld in 10 inch long 1/4 in thick 4 in wide plate to extend it back 6 inches, use a 447 conversion u joint, swap 2 wires in the cannon plug, run 2 new wires to the pcm, tune and done!

I have a 2000 5.3 4x4 yukon with no tranny or rear seats, also a 2000 5.3 silverado engine that leaks oil from a few places ( theorized to be due to piston blow by) ... need any parts for trade?
