just curious if those are the kappa components, or the reference series? I have a set of Kappa components running of a kenwood deck that sound like crap compared to the factory bose. I think I need baffles and an amp because I'm getting some pretty bad distortion. Sorry to thread jack

They are the reference series. If you are running Kappa Perfects of a cd player you are probably under powering them. I have ran Adire components, Infinity, Boston Acustics, Image Dynamics chameleons and Focal. The Infinity Kappa Perfects are the best sound set for the money. With the right amp and everything set up correct they should blow the stock bose out of the water.
