I believe that will also work on a 1999 silverado with a 5.3. Can u verify. I think on the back of the programmer it will show what it will work on. From Hypertech's web site it looks to me that it should work on a 99 Chev. Silverado with a 5.3. If so I could send payment by pay pal. If you could go 180.00 including shipping. I already got stuck with one that is for a 2000 only, with a 5.3 and the model number on it is 30003. The guy never gave me the model number before i sent him a check, now he says he will take it back but it will be a week or so before he can send me the money back, must have spent it right away.I have that one for sale if anyone is interested. Let me know.

i just got back from trying it on my cousins 99 5.3 silverado... quoting the programmer "This programmer is not for this vehicle" sorry but i rather be honest than send you another paper weight... i'm sure u appreciate that also
