Located outside of Baton Rouge, LA - 70769 area code. Obviously this is much easier picked up(and I will gladly help load with hoist, etc.), but if it must be, we can explore shipping options.
After running 7.5lbs boost on this turbo setup for about 500-1000 miles(daily driving only; no track time and one dyno session), I've decided to go the route of a Whipple and go ahead and build and swap in the 6.2 and built 6L80 that I have sitting on the stand. It's what I always wanted to do and not sure why I took the detour that I did.
Everything works great and as expected. It's running in the truck now and I drove it to work for the last few weeks as my car has been in the shop. I now have a loaner and am ordering the parts to get this rolling. I will make videos shortly of cold start, hot start, idling, driving, etc. but they won't be that exciting; everything just works without complaint.
If GM would sell a RCSB with a 6.2, I wouldn't be swapping but here we are.
On the stand, I have a 2018 6.2 out of an Escalade with <20K miles. I mention that as I don't want to swap harnesses, accessories, etc. if I don't have to. I will likely pull everything off the 6.2 to build it, and then use the harness and accessories already in the truck. This means the buyer would get the 36K mile 5.3/L83 with a lower-mile wiring harness and set of front end accessories.
I also have LT4 injectors and pump I intend to install, so a deal could be worked for the L86/LT1 injectors, pump coming out of the 6.2, as well as the L86 intake manifold. I do also have a LT1(car-style) intake off a low-mile Camaro that could be used for an application with less hood clearance. I'm upgrading the in-tank/low-pressure pump so that would up for grabs as well. I suppose if appropriate, the L86 cam would be available, if it is any sort of gain over the L83 piece. I imagine it is a slight improvement with stock-like manners.
I still have the stock exhaust. Manifolds would be included and we could work something out on the Y-pipe and cats. Those look brand new. I bought the truck about 29K miles and they must have just had it replaced because I saw no corrosion.
For the next week or two, engine could be seen running in truck. After that, videos will have to suffice.
Pics below(taken today) show it's a little dusty right now from driving around, but it's just dusty. It was squeaky clean 500 miles ago. Also below is a picture of the truck itself so you may see it is well taken care of.
