How's it drive? Would it be ok to tow a car and trailer with it? Also, are you still asking 750 shipped from AK?

 

It's a tight converter. I towed with it several times, no troubles. With a 40k, TFT's stayed at 135. With a heavy load, or drag racing, they maxed out at 150, then came back to 135.

I'm in Wyoming now, so shipping will be less. Feel free to make me an offer. When this sells I'm ordering another Yank for the wife's 80e swap. Dave's billet converters are badass.

I know the 80e swap has been popular lately... but I cant believe no one has scooped this up yet!

Do you have any speedo videos of both part throttle and full throttle? I have a 2800 Yank and I'm curious to see if this behaves any different.

 

Not a speedo vid, but here's one that has some normal driving & acceleration to 60 mph-ish, highway and in town driving. You can sort of tell how nice this converter drove daily IMHO. I'll dig around for speedo vids. It was almost impossible to hold a phone camera and go WOT in my truck.
