Default Zero Oil Pressure!! HELP

So I picked up my truck yesterday from Futral and brought it on the 2 hour trip home. Everything ran fine. Took it to work...everything fine. After I got off and was on the way to the store...i was cruising, getting on it a little and the RPMs and Speedo starting going crazy and the truck just went dead. We tried to jump it off, but realized we were still getting power and it wasn't electrical. Then I noticed my Oil Pressure guage was reading 0 when i turned the truck on?! I would hold in down for like 7 secs trying to start it and the guage would rise to 20 psi then die again. Someone please help me. The truck was gone for almost 6 months and I just got it back last night and futral is 2 hours away!!!

Freaking Out,
Chris

When you said the RPMs and speedo went crazy do you mean rapid acceleration? Your story isn't 100% clear, does the truck start up?

I agree with Litred Devil. Actually he should pay for the towing of the vehicle. For some reason I want to say a broken timing chain, but a piston would most likely have met a valve. Maybe the oil pump went sour? The geo rotor locked up maybe? But it could be a host of other things too. Keep us updated!

From the way you describe the speedo going crazy, it may be an electrical problem (not charging system, but engine control). Maybe a loose connection or broken wire somewhere.

About 2 years ago my truck had an oil pump problem. The siphon tube that primes the motor had a perforation and i lost all oil pressure. It was a rare problem nonetheless. This is what my mechanic said so dont quote me on that. Might wanna get all that checked out. just a thought.
