Default Z06 Cam in 07NBS

Is it true that one of the ways they increased HP on 07NNBS is a Z06 cam fact or fiction??

Sorry, got a lil excited there. seriously, though. use that search button; comes in real handy sometimes

I'd use a different cam, personally. If you're wanting low end power, go with something like a 212/218. If you want top end, tr220/224 would be a good choice

I think he's asking if the stock cam that comes in the truck has the same specs as the Z06 cam.

i dont know about the 07 having a z06 cam but i am pretty sure its not the same cam from previous models. I have noticed that intake is different and heads that is probably were most power is coming from

Yes that is what Im asking, I think it does have the same specs. but not completely sure yet

Do u have the 6.2L engine? If so the cams are different. Not sure on the spec but it makes 505 hp in the LS7 it has to be better. I just got a 6.2L for my truck and im gana run the Z06 cam and Springs in it and do away with the Displacement on demand.

x2 ...the heads is what giving the new motors the extra power.
