Haha go look at the thread I made in the drag racing section, I haven't been to the dyno since a host of upgrades, but track times are always a better indication of power anyway.

we are talking about a 1000 flywheel hp motor and a 1000 awhp denali wil have 1200 at the flywheel due to powertrain loss

I told my friend 800 with safty is alot better than setting on a 1000 that could go kaboom with a simple mistake

atomic- you have a 1000hp truck that you drive everyday?
and what i was getting at is in terms of block and rotating assembly integrity and longevity comparing a 1000hp motor to a 1900hp motor with an non-OEM block is pointless and irrelevant. not only are the power levels in completely different fields they're not even built off the same block with the same rotating assembly.

btw, calling out atomic is also ridiculous considering his build is well documented on this site as are his results. like several others on this site his trucks performance is public and easily verified.

first - if you blew an lsx block at 1900 either your guys didn't check for core shift or you need a real tuner. Second - do you understand you are talking to a certified GD rocket scientist? Third - do you realize you are talking to an ENGINEER that runs University of Alabama offensive linemen out of the weight room due to embarrassment ?
