Yet again, racking my brain over cams.

my 4.8L is handleing it... i need like a 3500 stall, lol. But i think that is a good choice in a 6.0L.
01 thunder and carcrazycutter4.8 are also running those cams.. its supposed to be a good nitrous cam as well. just my .02

The point is wasted power. Those guys who use the TR224 in their F-Bodies rev up to 6600-6800 RPMs. If you plan on shifting at 6200, you would likely be leaving power on the table that you could move downward by getting a smaller cam, like the one that Cam Motion spec'd out for you.
Cam Motion knows what they're doing, I'd seriously consider what they're saying.

Nakid is right. Your comparing an off-the-shelf camshaft (a complete guess) vs. a custom decision. It messes with your head
What's your combo? 6.0 -stock heads -bolt ons -all motor?
What max rpm do you want?
I'm guessing streetability with the 114 spread?

I think the TR224 will be just fine.
I agree, the Cam Motion will probably be a better choice, mainly because of the information that gets submitted for a request is extensive.
If you have the money for the custom, go for it, however I see the TR224 as a good choice as well.

I love my TR224. It does rev high, but I don't think that's a bad thing just because it's in a truck! Get a converter, throw some ARP rod bolts in, and rev that bish to 65-6600 like I do!

I love the 224!!! Mid-range power is where its at with this cam. It really wakes up around 2000rpms, and pulls hard all the way up to my 6500 shift point. I haven't been to the track since I raised the shift points up from 6300 to 6500, but I'm planning a trip up to Hattiesburg really soon. I'm anxious to try it out with the new tune and injectors, and hopefully I'll at least have my caltracs off of my floor and on my truck.
On a side note...I don't think I gave up much low end, due to the fact that the truck is pretty much useless from a dig on anything but et streets, track prep, and a long smoky burnout. Alot of that has to do with the TCI as well, but you don't sacrifice alot down low, and you pick up a ton of mid-high, so I think its a great cam to go with. 30-40mph punches against anybody is the best, though!!!!
You'll get accused of being on the bottle alot, trust me.
