Default Yank vrs. TCI

After fixing my traction issue, a stall will probably be my next mod. I was just wondering what are yalls personal experiences with these stalls? I will getting something in the 2600-3000 range.

I have a tci streetfighter and am happy with it so far. Its a 10'' and they say it stalls about 1500 over stock. It flashes to about 3200 behind my 6.0. It was 650.00 for the 4l80 and 450.00 for 4l60 from summit. Here is the part# TCI-242931.

I got a Yank 3000. The bad part is they are expensive and it took a month to get it after they said they would ship it. I have to say the 3000 is not enough shift extension! Go with a 3200 man if you have traction!!

i also have the TCI SSF3500, and i love it. it stalls right about 3500 and it will smoke the tires all day long. i have had it for about 6 months now and havent had a single problem. in my opinion TCI makes a quallity product.

You get what you pay for .... Yank ARE a little high .. but the 98.6% effeciency is worth it I thought. I don't know what the difference is between the 2, but I like both Yanks I've had.

TCI SSF3500 stalled over 5000rpm in my supercharged Tahoe the replacement they sent me lasted about 30 minutes before destroying the pump on my 4L60E,I didn't give TCI a third try.You wont go wrong with a Yank 3000.

I think this is exactly what happened to my friend who put on the TCI on his truck. His transmission went bad after two days.

The Yank in my Z28 has been absolutely fantastic (PT4200). If I was going to get one for a gasser truck it would be Yank simply because the one I have now has been great.
