I put 3 in straights on my truck and haven't noticed much of a loss at all. I would think stock manifolds create enough back pressure, but could be wrong. I personally want air to flow through as much as it can, especially once I can afford to get a cam and springs.

no I am running 1 chambers which are 1/2 the size of the 40 series, their about 6 inches long their very nice and easy to put anywhere, if I ever get tired(doubt it) of the sound then I would go with magnaflows more then likely.

sorry I can really only type on a computer I don't know how to do anything else. just imagine a race car like nascar sound, you can hear the cam lobe a little and it really take out the rasp. I contemplated adding 6 inch turn down tips(wholly ****) that would be way to loud and annoying to say the least. Anyone who likes loud good sounding exhaust I recommended to anyone. Also it breathes a hell of alot better then the 2 chambers. You really need the x pipe to cancel out some of the note becasue it will pop like a son of a bitch if you don't. I spent exactly $350 total on 2 1 chamber flows, magnaflow x pipe, (2) 3 inch turn down installed with all piping inclding cat deletion weld up out the door. got a hell of a deal, but I didn't do it all at once. I did it in steps and had a guy I go to for everything cut me a hell of a deal.

Hey cstchevy, Are you saying that you have no Cats? If so then how did you bypass the O2 sensors with out them setting off your engine light? I really like what you have done to you exhaust, I wish i could hear it. I know its a ford, but my friend has a 02 GT mustang an he has it dualed with a X pipe an two flows an it sound good to. I wonder if they sound about the same.

no the don't really sound the same, first fords have a more higher pitch on their exhaust. Another he probably has the 2 chambers, this thing is louder then most mustang unless they have some serious engine work or are running lt with bassani. I wish I could get a sound clip but I have no idea how to even do it, also don't have anything to do it with.

o2 sims suck. They do not work. Period. If you have autotap you can try soldering in a 15k ohm resistor in between the signal wire on the o2 sensor and log the fronts and the back together, the back sensor should read lower than the front, but not too much. This will work guaranteed, I do it at my shop all the time. Or, you could just have allen @ nelsonperformance.com turn them off for you.
