Default X pipe or H pipe 2003 1500hd 6.0L

Where are you guys buying these from? Is it a bolt on, or does it have to be welded in? Are they the correct length from the manufacturer to just weld in or bolt up?

Its welded in. Its only about a foot long or so and they just cut the y-section out of your exhaust and weld up your new h or x-pipe. I got mine from a local speed shop for about 80 bucks. I got the magnaflow x-pipe. From what i have heard, the magnaflow x-pipe is better for performance but it quiets the exhaust a bit. I like mine though!
