I have an option to cross one side over the other, and was wondering if you think this would work and how well (as far as flow and scavenging, or what not)



The paper tubes are just an illustration of course. Instead of one pipe going directly through another, why not only go through 50% of the other pipe? The way mine are run this would be an option for me

 

Not sure why you would want to cut so much of your exhaust flow when you can just do an X. And less hassle IMO.

 

I'd think that it would cause turbulence and obstruct flow, go with a regular X IMO.

 

Scrapping idea. Just thinking I don't have room for a ball flange if I have the two sides welded right there. I have to think twice when I come up with "something different" that I think is earth-shattering

 

It's all good brother, it's good to try new things and think outside the box Sometimes it takes a few tries but in the end you may end up with something innovative and effective
