Default X Pipe

I know an X pipe is suppose to help exhaust flow. Does it matter if its in the muffler? or is that to far back? on a ECSB 8.1

I would think the closer it is to the motor, the better, to equalize the velocity sooner. However, I don't think anybody would notice the power difference between it being back in the muffler vs further up front. Maybe 1-2hp difference if any.

I have 2 x pipes one is under the passenger seat followed by 2 cutouts and the other is in the muffler before the axle.
