well i got daul flomaster should i put a x pipe on i like my flomasters cause i like the sound i know a lot of you guys like maganflow. my ? is would x pipe make a diffrents i am going to put some shorty headers on as well

 

an x pipe is for equaling the back pressure per side
the pipe will change the sound slightly not much
most likely make your rig run better but that reason
for it equal back pressure make the system perform

magnaflow has them for sale. You can usually get the best deals on ebay. you will need either 2.5 or 3 inch inlets to work.

 

Now these xpipe designs are made specifically for chevy trucks? Or customizing is a must?

 

they will fit perfect under a chevy truck. i have one on my regular cab and it sit's right above the cross memeber.
