Default Wuts a 4.8L sound like?

well i ordered a new truck short box regular cab 2wd with the 4.8L 5 spd.. the first thing i do to every vehicle i buy is exhuast.. and im picky with exhuast. first off i have no idea wut the exhuast system looks like stock.. but if theres room i'm gona chop everything off and run true duals, since thers no way i can on my car, so y not the truck n e ways back to the point, im guessing the stock pipes are gona be 2 1/4 ? off the manifolds? for u guys with exhuast already do they have the sound like the iroc camaros 5 litre?kinda hollow? or are they more like the LS1 5.7 where its a deeper sound.. if there a hollow sound i'd rather go with flowies just for the sound, i no they don't flow worth ****, but if there a raspy/deep tone like the LS1 i'd rather run bullets like my TA which sounds perfect. o ya and i wana run it behind the rear tires. being a short box this system isn't gona be very big. let me no ur opionins suggestions. thanx

No sound clips but I am running the Dynatech Supermaxx header package and a 2 chamber flow and it sounds great IMO. I get compliments all the time.

Anyone else feel like they just got punched in the face? Trav- you might consider using some Hooker Aerochamber mufflers. A good alternative to Flowbastards. Do a search, you can find some sound clips.

Lots of people like the Corsa. You can dump it or use the bad *** side exit tip they have. Either way it will sound good!
