Default WTH is the difference between these headers?

Here is the link to the "real" OBX headers...

Here is the link to some one-off brand ebay headers...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-06...Q5fAccessories

What the hell is the difference? I read on another post that the "one-off" version is actually an 1 5/8" primary even though it is advertised as 1 3/4"

Can either be trusted? Are the OBX's worth the extra money?

I guess I am still header shopping

They are both the old style headers. The new revised ones do not have that hump in the one primary.. Also they both have a 2.5 collector.. How bout some nice SW's???

hahaha, I gotta give props for your presistance on the SW's... but no, if I spend more money I will be buying the AEM BF's. Great coated headers.

No, I am torn between that Ebay setup, the LPP's, and the pacesetters. Another question, are the pacesetters sold at Texas Speed stainless or painted? The picture looks stainless.

yea I saw that, I was curious about that... I am doing some homework on that too... thanx mang!!

So it sounds like out of the three that I am looking into, the LPP's are about the best option with the only complaint being that they do not always fit well... what has everyone done about the headers when they do not fit?

Only thing that seems to be a issue is the primary hits either the frame or the steering shaft.. Alot of people just bang a notch in with a hammer.. If that was the case for me I would send them back and tell them I want another set.. Yes for the money, if your on a budget, the LPP is the ones to get.. Your getting a SS header with a 1 3/4 prime, a 3inch collector.. I actually used a LPP Y pipe to make my set up, was very surprised at the quality of it.. nice welds, pretty decent wall thickness on the Y pipe..

thats probably the route I will end up goin... I just keep searching around and want to make sure I dont end up with buyers remorse.

On a side note, I will be sending my LPP's back for a new set if they aren't fitting properly.

The only complaint I had with my LPPs is they rubbed my steering shaft when my truck was body lifted, now that its not theres about a 1/4 inch gab in between, everywhere else theres even more room, good product for a even better price

So it sounds like they are made to fit in a stock height vehicle and once you lift or lower... thats when the problems arise?? Correct? anyone ran into this problem with a 2/3 drop?
