WTF! New Flexalite 282's don't fit my 2001?

the 295 come with a universal brackets" well they did when i ordered mine but i talked with phil and they sent me the 282 brackets and i cut and welded the lower brackets to fit in the slots in the radiator! later, kevin

Oh, keep an eye out for a used 34" rad...mine was $70! www.car-part.com is a good place of reference. They are super easy to drop in also the temp decrease was considerable too.

Talked to Thunder Racing and Flexalite. They (Flexalite) now make a kit identical to the 282, called the 292, for the 28" radiator. Same accessories and custom brackets, just a smaller size shroud, that's the good news. Bad news is it won't be here til Tues-Weds of NEXT week, drop shipped right from Flexalite. David at TR was very helpful!! Hurry up and wait.
