Damn, the guy I saw at the dealership straight up told me to pull out the tuned ECM if I ever needed to bring it in for warranty work. Course he didn't see the blower, so that probably wouldn't work...
If its just tuned, you should still be able to take it in. Worst case scenario they'll just flash over it, and you could get your truck fixed and then get the tune put back on it later. If its blackbear, Justin doesn't mine re-flashing because the stealership over-wrote your tune.

When my cousin broke his tranny on the dyno, the tuner set everything back to stock, and we took it to the dealer and they voided his warranty and didnt fix his truck because they said we had been messing with the ecm or something. These arent the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

MIL flashing is a type A misfire that can damage your cats, thats why you couldnt take off when you gave it gas. its in limp mode to try and save the cats from burning up due to unburned fuel from the engine being burned in the cats.

Man I am installing a procharger on a 2010 denali in about 2 weeks and we are not voiding his warranty, the reason that your cousin got screwed over is any internal engine or transmission work we need to contact GM PQC (product quality control) they require us to hook up a scan tool and check programing history up to the last 10 times the PCM has been programmed, any aftermarket tune is shown as "Unrecognized" instead of the calibration number.

A slight misfire or something like that we do not even bat an eye at checking for upgrades. What GM dont know wont hurt them, but for serious repairs that have defently been effected by the upgrades then you have to pay,

08k1500_9.....do you think they are just stricter her in CA? Because a week after I bought the truck I brought it in for them to check something, I forgot what it was, and they started panicking and telling me to leave now and they wouldn't void my warranty over a k&n intake. I actually thought he was joking, but he closed the hood and told me to leave before he changed his mind. There so nice to you when your about to buy a truck, but its totally different once you sign.

BTW....I noticed it started smelling inside the cab, and NO it wasn't me that smelled for you funny guys. I noticed it yesterday but I didnt think much of it, but I noticed it today too. I cant really describe the smell though. Its not too strong, but you notice it once you turn the truck on.
