that will be pretty wild for the street, the gas will have to be atleast 93 if not higher. It will be really rough with that 110 lsa, but the engine is worth alot, I just don't know how well it will do in the truck. pretty wild though.

i thought it would be a too radical for street, but maybe calm it down a bit. but then that might screw up the whole combination

Solid roller, .650", 246/258, 110LSA....... OUCH!

Swap that out with the 212/218 and you're golden.

I imagine that cam is pretty wild, even with all of those cubes. I don't think a solid roller is fun on the street - I just don't like having to adjust valve-lash, or whatever the call it it in cars.

With a more mild, but still healthy cam, I think that'll be perfectly streetable.

I think it's definitely worth it. Check out the prices on MTI 427's.

I would put something less radical for the cam like a 224 or something bigger, but yeah that engine cost a butt load new.

with a milder cam, what do you guys think i would get mpg wise?? i know its not gonna get anywhere near 15 or anything but would it be realistic to drive it on the street? like maybe around 10mpg?

i've got the tranny for it (built 4L80 with yank3200 stall) so im considering it. also what would cam and hydraulic rollers cost me? (i can do the install)

yeah I am guessing around 10 highway you could probably get alright mileage. 11.1 compression is what hurts, I really don't think that's going to run on pump gas alone have to probably do a mix unless you back out timing, its a iffy deal.
