Default Wiring harness help

Ok so i'm going to the junk yard to pic up another 5.3, this time i bought it complete out of a 2001 tahoe, with computer and everything. Now my question is will the harness off of the tahoe work on my truck? 2000 RCSB silverado

You need a harness from a 99-02 silverado/tahoe/yukon/escalade

Either will work even if its a 4x4 harness.

The 03+ have a DBW (drive by wire) TB and the 99-02 have a cable driven TB

You can even use your V6 computer just with a diff tune and VATS delete.
If you get a PCM as well make sure its a 99-02. Its not needed though

Do some more reading and searching so you won't get flamed by the guys around here for asking questions that have been answered thousands of times before.
