Just wanted to know and is there any performance gain from removing the cats?

It won't gain any drone and will be about the same at cruise. Idle will be a little louder but WOT will be considerably louder.

I had a 92 Vette with the Corsa cat back and no cats and it sounded raspy as hell I wouldnt do it + I dont think cats hurt that much anyway, you can help drone by runnin the exaust all the way out back.

No drone, but really raspy like The Breeze said. I'd leave the cats in personally. I did it on my old setup....long tubes, no cats, and Corsa Sport...I had to put a resonator inline with the muffler to make it tolerable. I wouldn't do it again.

is everyone referring to the Corsa "sport" or "touring"?

corsa sport or touring will not resonate without cats...a 18" bullet will take out 100% of the rasp
