Default Will a ported tb from a 98 LS1 work on an 02 5.3?

I recently installed a fast set up on my 98 Z28 and I'm wondering if I can install my ported throttle body on my truck. Is it a bolt on and go swap or do I have to modify anything?

Why not try it since you already have it?

It will bolt on but your cruise control plastic holder to throttle body will need to be drill open a little bigger. I have a ported ls1 tb on my 2000. Just don't drop your plastic c-clip like I did you'll never find it

Sorry for the dumb question, is there a write up to how to remove the throttle body, I'm not sure how to get the cruise control cable off. The tb is easier to remove from an fbody it seams.
