Default Will it hold?

Well, I don't have much of money, but I want to go ahead and get my traction situation at least somewhat under control because this one tire fire is a waste of all the mods I have done this far.

I know I can get a G80 pretty cheap. From what I have gathered from the wonderful "SEARCH" function, the big problem with the G80 is that the are relatively fragile, but still give decent traction. Is this true?

Would a G80 hold with the mods I have currently, some nittos, and MAYBE a 50 shot?

If money's tight save a while longer and get a good posi, the g80 won't hold up to a stock truck that's driven hard.If you plan to hammer on your truck at all you're cheaper to spend the money for a good posi up front, rather than after breaking a g80.

Whitt1 is right. Save now to prevent costly g80 repairs in the future. If a g80 breaks, it can take te gears with it turning a 400 posi unit intall into 700-800 in parts plus labor to rebuild a rear end.
